BAMMA today announce the latest addition to the BAMMA 24: Kone Vs. Phillips event to be held on Februray 27th 2016 at the 3Arena, Dublin. The bout is a Middleweight confrontation between Northern Ireland’s Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke and the returning Matt ‘Farmer Boy’ Hallam.

Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke Vs. Matt ‘Farmer Boy’ Hallam (Middleweight Bout)

Next Gen Northern Ireland’s Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke (7-8) makes his fourth appearance on a BAMMA event, after last competing in BAMMA’s debut Irish show BAMMA 22: DuQuesnoy Vs. Loughnane. The kickboxing specialist looks to get back into the win column after featuring on the wrong end of Paul Byrne’s highlight reel head kick KO at BAMMA 22.

With his dynamic range of striking and never back down ethos, Cooke will be aiming to send the home town crowds away happy with a dominant victory.

Matt ‘Farmer Boy’ Hallam (5-2) makes his return to BAMMA since his last fight for the promotion at BAMMA 16. The Heavy handed Hallam has all five of his victories via T/KO, recently re-located to London Shootfighters alongside long time training partner ‘Judo’ Jim Wallhead. Hallam made his debut in BAMMA against Harry ‘Mad Mac’ McLeman at BAMMA 15 and then followed this up by appearing at BAMMA 16: Daley Vs. DaSilva, where he took the victory over Curtis ‘Farmer’ Widmer in short fashion as he secured the victory in the 2nd round.

In a rapidly growing Middleweight division, Hallam returns to the fray to begin his journey up the rankings with the aim of an eventual shot at the BAMMA Middleweight title, currently held by Cheick ‘The Sniper’ Kone. But first he has his sights firmly set one Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke and a potential ‘Fight of the night’ at BAMMA 24.
