This Saturday December 10th, Bellator MMA will bring us live from Italy, Bellator 168 – Sakara vs Beltran. The event will be held at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy and air live on Spike TV.
Previously stated to headline was the much anticipated rematch for the Bellator Middleweight Championship between Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef. Sadly for the die hard MMA fans, just five days ago Carvalho pulled out from the fight because of an injury.
Meanwhile that leaves the spotlight open for Alessio Sakara and Joey Beltran who face off in the middleweight division. Could either of these guys pull off a performance of the night and get the eyes of the MMA world on them. Both guys will be looking to find success in life beyond the UFC and in what better way than one on one in the octagon. They are known for having heavy hands with long histories in finishing opponents Joey Beltran comes into this fight following a loss to Chase Gromley while Alessio Sakara comes into this fight following a win over Brian Rogers.
