UFC star Conor McGregor will appear in season 8 of Game of Thrones, according to UFC president Dana White.
“I did hear that,” White told FOX Sports. “I knew a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show. I’m glad he did it. It will be great. The show is huge. It’s awesome, and I’m excited for him.”
McGregor famously faced off against Game of Thrones’ Gregor Clegane aka ‘The Mountain’ in a bare knuckle sparring session McGregor has another connection to Game of Thrones, Irish actor Liam Cunningham, who is known for his role in the show as Lord Davos Seaworthy, has been known to train at the SBG with McGregor.
