Lee Chadwick hoping for Cage Warriors title shot

Lee ‘The Butcher’ Chadwick had an excellent submission win at the recent Cage Warriors 85 in Bournemouth.

He is now eyeing a shot at the title and the chance to fight in front of his home fans in Liverpool.

We catch up with Lee for Q and A interview.

MMAUK: You recently defeated Andrei Manzolo at Cage Warriors 85, did the fight go as you expected?

LC: No it went on 3 mins longer than I thought!

MMAUK: After that victory you called out for a title shot, are you still hoping for this opportunity? Have Cage Warriors agreed?

LC: Me and Cage Warriors are in discussions at the min so I can’t say anything officially but I believe that it’s my turn and I will get it .

MMAUK: Cage Warriors have a show later in the year in your home city of Liverpool would you like to fight on that show?

LC: Yes that’s the date we are in talks with for my next fight! Can not wait to fight in my home town for 2nd time this year .

MMAUK: You have fought for a few promotions, who do you feel are the best in Europe? Is there much difference between the promotions?

LC: All the promotions I have fought for have been good, And treated me good but Cage Warriors for me have topped them all, they have been great and they know how to boost the fighters profile and get the hype going for fights!

MMAUK: Can you tell us how you got into mma?

LC: I got into MMA after I watched my first fight in the Liverpool Olympia , I was amazed by the skill of the local guys and decided to take it up !

MMAUK: What do you still hope to achieve in the sport?

LC: I want to be the best in the UK! Then I wanna be the best in the world , step by step!
