5 New Bouts Added To The BAMMA 35 Fightcard

BAMMA today confirms five new bouts added to the BAMMA 35 fight card, including a main card bout featuring Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards Vs. Claudio Conti. BAMMA 35 takes place on Saturday 12th May at the 3Arena, Dublin, Ireland. Tickets are on sale now from bamma.com

Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards Vs. Claudio Conti (Middleweight Bout)

The self proclaimed ‘Easy Money Tour’ rolls back into Dublin as surging Middleweight Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards (4-0) arrives to take on SBG’s Claudio Conti (7-4-2). Conti is a seven year veteran and will offer Edwards a stern challenge as he prepares to pop the the Fabian hype bubble, and he will be especially confident of doing so since recently switching to Dublin’s SBG for his training. Edwards is chasing down a shot at the World Middleweight title, and sees Conti as another stepping stone en route to what he believes will soon be his. With none of Edwards pro fights going further than the second round thus far, expect a high pace and a spectacular finish.

Blaine O’Driscoll Vs. Aaron Robinson (Flyweight Bout)

Blaine O’Driscoll (5-2) returns to the Flyweight division as he makes his 5th appearance for BAMMA on May 12th. Standing across the cage from him will be Next Gen’s Aaron Robinson (2-1), who will be making his BAMMA debut after his proposed first bout at BAMMA 26 was called off due to injury. Both fighters will be out to prove a point and get a foothold in the Flyweight division after both suffered defeats in their last bouts. With both of these Flyweights showing fearless abandon in their fighting styles, expect some high octane, blink and you’ll miss it action, as these two young stars aim to light up the 3Arena.

Also added to the prelims are the following three bouts

Steve Owens (2-2) Vs. Daniel ‘Obi Wan’ Olejniczak (1-1-1) – A Welterweight clash that sees SBG Concorde’s Owens taking on IFS Northern Ireland’s Olejniczak in what promises to be an all out war.

Maciek Gierszewski (2-2) Vs. Sebastian Kozok (0-2) – Team Kyoujin’s Gierszewski returns to the promotion to take on newcomer Ferocity MMA’s Kozok in this Welterweight affair.

Karl McCallig (Debut) Vs. Joseph Whelan (0-1) – In this collision of strikers, multi time world Thai Boxing Champion and newly signed BAMMA fighter McCallig, makes his MMA debut against the former X-Factor contestant Whelan in a Welterweight battle.
