Daniel Cormier says McGregor boxing with Mayweather could get embarrassing

UFC Light Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has warned Conor McGregor, if he steps into a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather it could get embarrassing.

With McGregor and the UFC signing their half of the agreement to the bout with boxing great, Mayweather, this week- it would seem the dream match up is well on its way to being made a reality. Though Cormier doesn’t believe this kind of match up would be such a good thing for the Irish super star, or any other MMA fighter for that matter.

McGregor continues to prepare

“These dudes will get slept and it’s going to be embarrassing,” Cormier told UFC Tonight.

“McGregor can actually go and fight Mayweather and I’ve said it time and time again on this show, he will lose.”

“The rest of these guys, they will get no money and they will also get slept.”

“Conor, hats off to you, make your money but don’t get slept, which might happen

  1. I don’t think Floyd has any chance to ko conor. First of all he is 40 and never been a knockout artist, he has had multiple surgeries on his hands, and conor is a much bigger fighter than floyd has ever seen just to name a few. Now Floyd most likely will still win but it won’t be by ko. Conor is gonna make $100 mill no matter what

  2. whats your opinion of embarassing… ko in round 1.. losing all 12 or 15 rounds cause thats 2 completely different things… going the distance with Floyd is no embarassment… beating him 2-3 rounds stills brings bragging rights of sorts imo
