UFC 225: Whittaker vs Romero Live Results

June 09 2018 – at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois

The headline fight of the main card sees Robert Whittaker once again fight Yoel Romero in what should have been a middleweight title fight for the belt, but due to Romero missing weight it will now be a non-title catchweight bout. There is still a title fight in the co-main event, with Rafael dos Anjos taking on Colby Covington for the interim welterweight title whilst Woodley recovers from surgery.

The card also sees the long awaited UFC debut of Megan Anderson, who has vacated her Featherweight Invicta title to fight in the UFC against former Bantamweight champion Holly Holm. Arlovski  fights Tuivasa in a heavyweight bout, and controversially CM Punk will also be appearing on the main card to fight realtive newcomer Mike Jackson, ahead of Alistair Overeem vs Curtis Blaydes (heavyweight bout) and Claudia Gadelha vs Carla Esparza, who instead will fight on the preliminary card.
